​Whole Kids Yoga grew from a lifelong passion for literacy, wellness, and supporting children’s emotional growth. After more than 25 years in the classroom, it became clear that kids needed more tools for self-regulation, confidence, and joyful movement—especially after the challenges of the pandemic.
By blending yoga, mindfulness, and storytelling through picture books, Whole Kids Yoga creates imaginative, engaging sessions that help children thrive. What began in schools and studios has now expanded into homes and community spaces, bringing families meaningful wellness experiences.

About Kirsten
Meet Kirsten — Guiding Children Through Mindful Movement & Literacy
Kirsten is a seasoned educator with over 25 years of experience helping children grow through literacy, wellness, and mindful movement. With a Master’s in Literacy Education and a career spanning public and private schools across the country, she believes kids thrive when their minds and bodies are in balance.
Inspired by her love of nature, travel, and meaningful connection, Kirsten brings heart, expertise, and playfulness to every yoga and literacy session she leads. Whole Kids Yoga is her way of combining her passions to support children in becoming confident, healthy, joyful learners.
I’m thrilled you’re considering yoga for your child. At Whole Kids Yoga, each session is personalized to your child’s interests and your family’s wellness goals. Before we begin, we’ll schedule a short introduction meeting—virtual or in person—so I can get to know what inspires your child and create joyful, meaningful sessions just for them.
